texa: Python SDK for the Texa API

pip install texa
export TEXA_API_KEY=texa_test_... # from Texa Desk: Texa AI, Developers
from texa import Client

texa = Client()
convo = texa.open_conversation(channel="web", customer_ref="user-1842",
                               idempotency_key="open-user-1842")
out = texa.send_message(convo["conversation_id"], "Where is my transfer?",
                        message_id="msg-551")
events = texa.run_actions(convo["conversation_id"], out, {
    "get_transfer_status": lambda inputs: {"status": "paid_out"},
})
for e in events:
    if e["type"] == "reply":
        print(e["text"])
  • AsyncClient has the same methods, awaited.
  • texa.webhooks.parse(secret, headers, raw_body) checks a webhook's signature.
  • Errors are texa.TexaError with status, code, message, field and request_id.
