Thrasher
A lightweight file encryption program written in Python.
Installation
pip install thrasher
Usage
pip install thrasher
# Encrypt a file
thrasher secret.txt
# Decrypt a file
thrasher secret.txt.thrash
# Overwrite on decryption
thrasher -w secret.txt.thrash
# Help
thrasher --help
Name
Thrasher is named after the birds belonging to the genus Toxostoma, sometimes referred to as "typical thrashers." Many thrashers build nests in cacti or thorny vegetation in order to safeguard it from predators; they also defend their nests aggressively against threats and have been known to attack species as large as humans.
