Llama-cpp-python is selected as the default backend because it is completely free and requires no additional setup. However, users can switch backends at any time.

For Windows / macOS / LinuX / ChromeOS users:

The lite version toolmate_lite runs faster and supports Android Termux. It lacks some of the features that are equipped with the full version toolmate.

For Android users:
