A modern, Python-based tree command with:

Install
pip install pytree
Usage
pytree.py [-h] [--basenames] [--format {tree,json,markdown}][path]
Tree output:
pytree [filepath]
JSON output:
pytree [filepath] --format json > structure.json
Markdown output:
pytree [filepath] --format markdown > structure.md
