trentai-mcp — retired
This package is no longer maintained. Trent's MCP server is now hosted by Trent and reached over HTTPS. Nothing needs to be installed from pip.
Install the plugin instead
Trent is now a plugin, and it brings the skills this package used to install. Setting it up, on every host it supports, is documented in its own repository:

Already installed?
It keeps working — this release changes no tool. Once the plugin is set up, clear out what earlier releases wrote:
trent-mcp-uninstall # the .mcp.json entry, skill copies, a stale Stop hook,
# the marked block in CLAUDE.md, and keychain tokens
pip uninstall trentai-mcp
Run trent-mcp-uninstall first, while the command still exists.
trent-mcp-setup no longer configures anything. It prints this migration and
leaves your files alone.
