vantadb-client
The vantadb-client package provides a small synchronous Python client for a
VantaDB server.
Installation
pip install vantadb-client
Usage
from vantadb import VantaDB
with VantaDB(
host="127.0.0.1",
port=6379,
username="your-user",
password="your-password",
) as db:
db.set("greeting", "hello")
print(db.get("greeting"))
print(db.execute("MGET", "greeting", "missing"))
The client supports VantaDB's RESP commands and decodes simple strings, errors, integers, bulk strings, null values, and nested arrays.
Local build
From this directory:
python -m pip install --upgrade build twine
python -m build
python -m twine check dist/*
Upload the generated artifacts to PyPI with:
python -m twine upload dist/*
Use a TestPyPI repository first when publishing a new package.
