Replace audio for a video file

Installation

First install vidtoolz.

pip install vidtoolz

Then install this plugin in the same environment as your vidtoolz application.

vidtoolz install vidtoolz-replace-audio

Usage

type vidtoolz-replace-audio --help to get help

usage: vid repaudio [-h] [-o OUTPUT] [-v VOLUME] [-s STARTAT] video audio

Replace audio for a video file

positional arguments:
  video                 Path to the input video file
  audio                 Path to the audio file

optional arguments:
  -h, --help            show this help message and exit
  -o OUTPUT, --output OUTPUT
                        Path to save the output video. Default None
  -v VOLUME, --volume VOLUME
                        Percentage to lower the original audio (0-100),
                        Default 30
  -s STARTAT, --startat STARTAT
                        Load audio at this time in seconds. Default 0

Development

To set up this plugin locally, first checkout the code. Then create a new virtual environment:

cd vidtoolz-replace-audio
python -m venv venv
source venv/bin/activate

Now install the dependencies and test dependencies:

pip install -e '.[test]'

To run the tests:

python -m pytest
