Vital Offline Information Diary

VOID is an offline diary to be used in the terminal.

I made VOID with these goals in mind:

1. Make something useful for me, and feel accomplished delivering a usable piece of software - at least for myself.
2. Learn Python and SQLite. I wanted to do something different from my regular job and grow my skills - starting with tooling, and now this more UI-heavy piece backed by a database.
3. Practice and get involved in the full life cycle of a project: identify a need or something to improve, then design and develop a solution.

It took me a year to complete this project - this is the third and final repo - I pitched the idea on August 10th, 2025. Life, doubts, and failures get in the way of personal projects. However, looking back at my notes, I learned a lot, and a lot of myself changed along the way.

The project is in its final form, and I can proudly say it's finished. I'll keep improving it, but the core things I wanted to do are delivered.

I made it public so there's proof on the Internet of my work.

How to install
