Whitebox Plugin - Demo Mode
This is a plugin for whitebox that runs the instance in demo mode.
Installation
Simply install the plugin to whitebox:
poetry add whitebox-plugin-demo-mode
Frontend development
In a prepared core backend dev container, use make test-frontend for the selected
source suite. Ordinary Python archives contain JSX; core explicitly assembles
the installed separate remote. Follow the shared frontend package guide
and JSX testing guide
for prerequisites, assembly/restart lifecycle and private test setup.
In core, demo is an optional plugins-demo installation. From the backend
environment, install it with poetry install --with plugins-demo, explicitly
assemble with make prepare-frontend-tools build_federation_modules, then set
DEMO_MODE=1 and a valid DEMO_MODE_FLIGHT_SESSION_ID for the running backend.
Normal production does not select this group. Installing the service without a
target reports an error. Core's full application contract
checks real session loading and playback idempotency separately from source mocks.
