This is the retired Gen-1 (Python) MCP server for WhiteMagic. It stays installable for pinned and legacy use, but it is not the current product. The current WhiteMagic is the Rust v9 line: one curated 24-tool MCP surface over a durable local store.

Then point your MCP client at wm serve — or run wm connect --write and let WhiteMagic wire every detected client. Verify with wm grimoire.

Do not confuse this PyPI package with the current npm launcher, which is also named whitemagic-mcp but ships the Rust v9 server.

What this package still is

• The last Python MCP server of the Gen-1 line (whitemagic-mcp 26.x). It remains installable so existing pins keep working, and it depends on the matching legacy whitemagic Python package.
• No new features, security fixes, or support are provided for this line. It is frozen.
• Importing whitemagic_mcp emits a DeprecationWarning; the server prints a one-line notice on stderr. Set WM_LEGACY_SUPPRESS=1 to silence both.
