Diverges after the v6.5.7 tag.

The last common commit is d72fff8d7b9b8f6aa68505847e5483d600e3184c Fork Original

I’ll try to maintain it as best I can and will add opionionated changes.

The new package name is windhose. The import path will not change for the forseable future.

sort imports
ran pyupgrade to automatically modernize some things - use more f-strings - …
improve typing - replace usages of types from typing with the built-ins - used proper types from collections.abc - used new union syntax (str | None instead of Optional[str]) - removed strings from type-hints - from __future__ import annotations for 3.11 and 3.12 support - remove type comments (using com2ann)
add musllinux wheels

changed default status codes of redirect: 301 -> 308 & 302 -> 307

Hello, world

Here is a simple “Hello, world” example web app for Tornado:

This example does not use any of Tornado’s asynchronous features; for that see this simple chat room.
