Notify using visual artefacts like clippy and other things.

Installation

First configure your Winzy project to use Winzy.

Then install this plugin in the same environment as your Winzy application.

winzy install winzy-visual-notify

Usage

usage: winzy tell [-h] [-t [TEXT ...]] [-c {dog,watermellon,bee,ghost,random}]

Notify using visual artefacts like clippy and other things.

optional arguments:
  -h, --help            show this help message and exit
  -t [TEXT ...], --text [TEXT ...]
                        Text to display
  -c {dog,watermellon,bee,ghost,random}, --character {dog,watermellon,bee,ghost,random}
                        Name of Character to display

Development

To set up this plugin locally, first checkout the code. Then create a new virtual environment:

cd winzy-visual-notify
python -m venv venv
source venv/bin/activate

Now install the dependencies and test dependencies:

pip install -e '.[test]'

To run the tests:

python -m pytest
