XLab IsaacSim Backend

Isaac Sim and Isaac Lab lowering for xlab-engine-core. The package registers itself through the xlab.engines entry-point group and is distributed as a compiled wheel.

Runtime prerequisites

This wheel targets CPython 3.11 on Linux x86_64. Install Isaac Sim 5.1.0.0 and the Isaac Lab SDK from commit f73c331738 before using this backend. Installing this wheel with pip does not install those SDKs.

The XLab user-repository installer already installs the pinned SDK before installing the backend. For a manual setup, first prepare the Isaac Sim runtime, then install the following SDK requirements in the same Python environment, and finally install xlab-engine-isaacsim==0.1.0.

Save the above lines as isaaclab-requirements.txt and run python -m pip install -r isaaclab-requirements.txt.
