yepgent
yepgent is an alias for local-yep.
Installing it installs Local Yep — there is no separate product here.
pip install yepgent # or: pip install local-yep
Either name gives you the same three commands:

What Local Yep is
A local-first agent framework for Claude Code: a named, personable agent with a
persistent recall → reflect memory loop, stored 100% on your machine
(SQLite under ~/.local-yep/). It runs on your Claude Code subscription or
API key and never touches those credentials.
Recommended install
For the alpha, prefer the bootstrap script — it also configures your activation
key and records terms acceptance, which a bare pip install does not:
curl -fsSL https://yepgent.com/dl/install.sh -o install.sh && bash install.sh
Windows: install.ps1 from the same folder. Downloads and checksums:
