z4j-hueyperiodic

The Huey @periodic_task scheduler adapter for z4j.

Surfaces registered @periodic_task decorators from your Huey app on the dashboard's Schedules page as read-only inventory.

Compatibility

• Huey 2.4 and later, with no upper bound: Huey 2 and Huey 3 are both supported. The package's suite runs a periodic task under a real Huey consumer on Huey 2.4.0 and on Huey 3.4.0.
• Python 3.11+

What it ships

This adapter is read-only (capabilities() returns {list, read}). Huey's periodic tasks are decorator-defined in your source (the @periodic_task argument is the schedule), so create / update / delete / enable / disable / trigger-now are all out of scope, those need a source edit and deploy round-trip. The dashboard greys out the buttons it can't honor.

Reliability

• The adapter reads Huey's periodic-task registry during inventory snapshots; it installs no Huey hooks and does not alter decorator runtime behavior or schedule definitions.
