What is this package?
agent-toolkit-cli is the PyPI adapter for the agent-toolkit monorepo (ADR-021). Platform wheels bundle the native V binary; agent-toolkit / agent-toolkit-cli are a thin trampoline (same idea as the npm package). There is no Python CLI fallback — see python-fallback.md.
It also ships:
- bundled skills, agents, loops, profiles, packs, and MCP templates
- install / doctor / sync workflows that deploy the right artifacts per AI tool
One CLI. Any coding assistant. Zero duplication.

Recommended: uv — no permanent install required.

Desktop GUI
Prefer a graphical workspace? The native desktop app runs over the same Engine — Office, Library, Operations, and an embedded terminal:
agent-toolkit gui --install # download the desktop binary from GitHub Releases

Canonical sources live in the agent-toolkit monorepo. This package is the installable distribution of that source of truth.

installto deploy profiles)
