cuifw

Console User Interface FrameWork The GUI framework for the terminal.

cuifw is what tkinter is for the desktop - but for the terminal.

• 2024 lines, 64.9 KB, zero dependencies
• GUI widgets: Label, Button, Menu, Panel, Input, Table, Slider, Tabs
• 2D + 3D ASCII rendering: lines, circles, hearts, cubes, spheres, torus
• Dialogs: MessageBox, InputDialog, FileDialog
• Layout: VSTACK, HSTACK, GRID
• Themes: Style, Theme, dark/light
• Events: EventBus, FocusManager
• Keyboard: raw mode, arrows, Enter, Esc, F-keys
• Network: Channel (sockets), Web (HTTP server)
• Process: StartPyCode, KillPyScript, WaitForProcess

Works everywhere Python runs: Linux, macOS, Windows, Android (Pydroid3), SSH, Docker, CI.

Install

pip install cuifw
