Hessian-based specular reflection detection in endoscopy images
Project description
Overview
This is a re-implementation of a Hessian-guided specular reflection detection method in HSV color space, originally described in IEEE JBHI (2024).
Method
- HSV conversion
- S-channel smoothing
- Hessian eigenvalue analysis
- Photometric constraints (S, V thresholds)
- Binary mask output
