napari-ai-lab

A collection of plugins and utilities for ND segmentation with Cellpose, StarDist, SAM and more

Status: early, and released for a specific reason

This is an alpha release. It exists so that the analysis in a forthcoming article can be reproduced against a fixed, installable version, rather than against a moving git branch.

That means:

• The API will change without deprecation. Pin an exact version.
• Parts of it are experimental, and some segmenters are more finished than others.
• The deep-learning ops are expected to migrate to scikit-ops over subsequent releases, which will change how segmenters are invoked.

If you are here from the article, install the exact version it pins. If you are here to use it day to day, it is probably too early — but issues and feedback are welcome.

This napari plugin was generated with copier using the napari-plugin-template (None).

Installation

You can install napari-ai-lab via pip:

pip install napari-ai-lab

If napari is not already installed, you can install napari-ai-lab with napari and Qt via:

pip install "napari-ai-lab[all]"

Contributing

Contributions are very welcome. Tests can be run with tox, please ensure the coverage at least stays the same before you submit a pull request.
