Add new attribute values to product templates automatically

Product Attribute Auto Add

This module saves time by automatically managing product attribute values. When you add a new value to an attribute, it will also be automatically added in all product templates that have this attribute.

You can exclude specific product templates from this automatic update by enabling the “Disable Attribute Autoupdate” checkbox on the product template form.

Configuration

To enable Auto-Create Product Variants

• Go to Settings -> Products -> Variants -> Attributes

• Select an attribute record or create a new one

• On the Attribute form view, enable the “Auto-Add Value to Product Templates” checkbox

To exclude products from automatic attribute value updates

• Go to Products → Products

• Open the product template you want to exclude

• Enable the “Disable Attribute Autoupdate” checkbox

Usage

To add a new attribute variant to products

• Go to Settings -> Products -> Variants -> Attributes

• Select an attribute record or create a new one

• Add new Value on the Attribute Values notebook tab

• When a new attribute value is added, it will automatically be added to all products that have this attribute (except those where “Disable Attribute Autoupdate” is enabled).
