Updates timesheet's analytic account when their task changes the analytic.

Project Task Analytic Propagation

This module allows you to change the analytic accounts in the timesheet, regardless of whether it has already been validated or is pending, when the linked task changes accounts (as happens with an item in a sales order).

In addition, when you change the analytic account for a project, it is also automatically updated in all its tasks.

When you change the task’s project, this project will be propagate to all task’s timesheets.

This is an alpha version, the data model and design can change at any time without warning. Only for development or testing purpose, do not use in production. More details on development status

Configuration

To configure this module, you need to:

1. Go to Settings > Users & Companies > Groups

2. Give your user these technical permissions:

   • Technical / Show Full Accounting Features

3. Go to Invoicing > Settings > Analytics and check Analytic Accounting

Usage

To use this module, you need to:

1. Go to Sales > Order and select an order with a project related.

2. Click on task’s smart button and select or create a task.

3. Select any analytic account for any analytic plan in ‘Extra Info’.

4. Record some time on timesheets page.

5. On the Extra Info tab change the analytic account in any analytic plan.

6. To check this go to Timesheets > All Timesheets.

7. Change to list view and group by Project > Task and add custom group based on your analytic plans.
