Show next Expiry Date on Qty at Date Widget

This module extends the functionality of Qty at Date Widget to display next Expiry Date and to allow you to inform your customers properly about the goods they are going to purchase.

Use Cases / Context

This module was developed because sometimes salesperson need to know when product will expire.

It will be useful for you if your salesperson need to share this information with their customers.

Installation

In order to use this module, you need to install those modules:

• sale_management

Configuration

In order to configure this module, you need to:

1. Go to Inventory > Settings > Traceability and enable Expiration Dates

2. Enable an user with only this permissions:

• Sales: User: Own Documents Only

• Technical: Manage Lots / Serial Numbers

Usage

To use this module, you need to:

1. Create an Storable product with Tracking by Lots or S/N and check Expiration Date

2. Fill stock of this product with Lots and Expiration Dates

3. Create a new Sale and select the product you’ve configured previously

4. Check the Widget that shows info about the stock

5. Check the next Expiration Date is correctly set

6. Click on View Quants to see all Quants and its Expiration Dates
