Use push rules for resupply from other warehouse routes.

Stock Warehouse Resupply Route Push

This module allows to configure the resupply from another warehouse route using the push mode. When enabled, a first transfer is created from the source warehouse to the inter-warehouse location, and then, only after that transfer is done, a second transfer is created from the inter-warehouse location to the destination warehouse.

Configuration

1. With multi-warehouses and advances routes enabled, navigate to any warehouse.

2. Select some warehouse in the Resupply from field.

3. Mark the new option Resupply from another Warehouse with Push Rules.

4. Click Regenerate inter warehouse routes.

If you already had a previous route to resupply from another warehouse, it has been now archived and substituted by the new one. The new route is automatically assigned to the same products, product categories and warehouses as the previous one was.

Also, note that this will create next inter-warehouse deliveries using a new operation type dedicated inter-warehouse deliveries (internal or external depending on the company of the destination warehouse).

Known issues / Roadmap

• Consider to specify return type for inter-warehouse operation types generated by this module. (return_picking_type_id)

• It is still not possible to use push for inter-warehouses between 2 companies, because we cannot create a stock rule with locations of different companies.
