This module allows you to track how many times product-related documents are downloaded from the Odoo website.

Use Cases / Context

Sometimes you would like to know how often a document is downloaded from the website. For example, you have a user manual attached to your e-commerce product, and you would like to know how often your clients check it.

Usage

Activate the “Count downloads” switch on a product document kanban tile. This checkbox is shown only if the “Publish on website” switch is already activated. A download counter will be displayed on the kanban tile.

1. Activate the “Count downloads” switch on the product document kanban tile.

   

2. When a user downloads a document from the website, the download counter will automatically increment.
