Routemark

Routemark maximises useful, trustworthy work completed by lower-cost models while preserving premium-model capacity for decisions and work where it creates the most value. The powerful model stays in charge as the Controller; Routemark gives it the skills and tools to get delegates onto the machine, hand them work, and take the results back safely.

This is an early pre-release, being piloted. In this phase the Controller is Claude Code, the one delegate harness it knows is OpenCode, and it has been run on macOS only. Expect it to change.

Install

It is a pre-release, so an installer needs the exact version:

uv tool install routemark==0.1.0a5

or pipx install routemark==0.1.0a5. It needs Python 3.11 or later and git, and has no other dependencies. Check it took:

routemark --version

First steps

See what is on this machine: the delegate harnesses, and the providers and models each one already has.

routemark discover

Link Routemark's skills into the Controller. This shows what it would link and changes nothing; it prints the command that makes the links:

routemark skills install

From there the Controller drives: open Claude Code in a git project and ask it to delegate a task with Routemark. routemark --help lists every command, and the commands print the next one to run, filled in. To remove it: routemark skills remove, then uv tool uninstall routemark; routemark home says where its state is kept.

From the repository

Build the wheel and prove it works when installed (the wheel and the sdist are left in dist/), and run the tests:

Licence

Routemark is proprietary software, all rights reserved (see LICENSE). You may install and run it. Its being on PyPI grants no licence to copy, modify or redistribute it.
