Routemark

Routemark maximises useful, trustworthy work completed by lower-cost models while preserving premium-model capacity for decisions and work where it creates the most value. The powerful model stays in charge as the Controller; Routemark gives it the skills and tools to get delegates onto the machine, hand them work, and take the results back safely.

This is an early pre-release, being piloted. In this phase the Controller is Claude Code or Codex, the delegate harnesses it knows are OpenCode and Prime, and it has been run on macOS only. A project can be open, or sandboxed so that a delegate changes only its own private copy; a Codex Controller can drive open projects only, because macOS will not let it start a sandbox from inside its own. Expect it to change.

Install

It is a pre-release, so an installer needs the exact version:

uv tool install routemark==0.1.0b2

or pipx install routemark==0.1.0b2. It needs Python 3.11 or later and git, and has no other dependencies. Check it took:

routemark --version

First steps

See what is on this machine: the delegate harnesses, and the providers and models each one already has.

routemark discover

Link Routemark's skills into the Controller. This shows what it would link and changes nothing; it prints the command that makes the links:

routemark skills install

That links into every Controller it can find on the machine, and says so when it can find none. From there the Controller drives: open Claude Code or Codex in a git project and ask it to delegate a task with Routemark. routemark --help lists every command, and the commands print the next one to run, filled in. To remove it: routemark skills remove, then uv tool uninstall routemark; routemark home says where its state is kept.

From the repository

Build the wheel and prove it works when installed (the wheel and the sdist are left in dist/), and run the tests:

Licence

Routemark is proprietary software, all rights reserved (see LICENSE). You may install and run it. Its being on PyPI grants no licence to copy, modify or redistribute it.
