UR5 Lab Helper 1.0.1
This package supplies helper.py for the ten UR5 CoppeliaSim lab experiments.
Important before running
- Open CoppeliaSim.
- Load the correct scene (UR5, and BarrettHand plus objects for pick-and-place labs).
- Make sure the ZeroMQ Remote API server is enabled, normally on port 23000.
- Run the experiment with the same Python interpreter where this package is installed.
The experiments can continue to use:
from helper import *
No edits to the ten experiment scripts are intended.
Install or update from this folder
python -m pip install --upgrade .
If an older copy is installed, close Python/IDLE/VS Code terminals first, then run the command above in the extracted package folder.
numpy and cv2 are optional imports. If a particular experiment uses either library directly, install it separately.
